Dixie Getz

Dixie Getz came to VibraLife to continue her recovery after acquiring an infection following surgery on her right shoulder. When she first arrived, Dixie couldn’t put any weight on her right upper extremity and required a sling. Dixie couldn’t walk on her own and needed assistance with all her activities of daily living.

Despite all the challenges in front of her, Dixie worked intensively on her recovery. Meanwhile, IV antibiotics helped to clear her infection. Through hard work and persistence, Dixie built up her strength in her right upper extremity and no longer needed the sling.

Dixie can now walk 100 feet, complete all activities of daily living independently, and can transfer on her own. VibraLife is very proud of Dixie’s success. We wish her all the best and appreciate the opportunity to work with her through recovery.
