Charles Valetske

After losing his balance and falling at home, Charles Valetske was rushed to the Penn State Holy Spirit emergency room, where he experienced significant pain on his left side. He was diagnosed with a left hip fracture and underwent a surgical repair with the orthopedic team.

Following the surgery, Charles faced challenges with mobility. During his hospital therapy evaluation, he could only walk 30 feet with the aid of a walker and assistance from the staff.

Frederick Brooks

Experiencing shortness of breath, Frederick Brooks arrived at the emergency room at UPMC Harrisburg. Frederick was admitted and experienced a complicated hospitalization, including pneumonia, newly diagnosed atrial fibrillation (AFib), and deconditioning related to his extended stay.

Dixie Getz

Dixie Getz came to VibraLife to continue her recovery after acquiring an infection following surgery on her right shoulder. When she first arrived, Dixie couldn’t put any weight on her right upper extremity and required a sling. Dixie couldn’t walk on her own and needed assistance with all her activities of daily living.

Regina Nalesnik

Before coming to VibraLife, Regina Nalesnik experienced pain in her right knee. She attempted to go the route of non-operative pain management but didn’t see any results. With no progress, she elected for knee replacement surgery.

Floyd Rutter

Floyd Rutter found himself needing extended care after suffering a fall at home. He chose VibraLife, and upon arrival, he required assistance with self-care and could only walk about ten feet. His mobility was severely affected due to pain in his left knee.
